Wood Crates
EPE designs and builds many different styles of wood crates. Crates can be made with removable loading ramps or removable tops and sides for easy loading. Crates can be lined with foam or films. Foam shock absorption can be built into the base of your crates. Various material types and hardware options can be incorporated into the design of the crate.
Wood Pallets
EPE manufactures wood pallets. From the standard everyday use shop pallets to the very complex special purpose pallets, EPE can design and build them all.
Lumber Used
EPE uses only Certified Heat Treated lumber in the construction of our wood crates and pallets. All materials are pest free. EPE is certified and compliant according to USDA and ALSC rules. Every crate and pallet we produce suitable for export and is marked according to current import / export rules.
Wood Working Equipment
EPE has all of the necessary wood working equipment at our Tualatin facility to make your wood packaging. This includes two panel saws, three cross-cut saws, two drill presses, multiple routers, drills, nail guns, and various small hand tools.
Wood Packaging Quality
As mentioned above, EPE uses only Heat Treated lumber. All of our lumber is stored indoors in our temperature controlled manufacturing facility. This insures that your crates will be clean, and dry, and not leaking pitch when you receive them. All wood packaging is made to print in accordance with our design drawings and machining instructions.
